Steve McCabe recently met with Lawrence Wilson, the new manager or Yardley Wood bus depot.  Steve raised the issue of changes to the 27 route and changes to the 69 (now the the 76) which a number of constituents have concerns about.

At the British Legion event Steve was told about the charity’s new strapline, ‘Shoulder to shoulder with all who serve’, and about the difference the Legion is making in the local area. Steve also learnt more about the Legion’s ‘Time to do your bit’ campaign amongst MPs, as well as its concern that the Government should support bereaved Armed Forces families through a Chief Coroner’s Office.

The Moseley Round Table group is doing its street collections over a period of two weeks in Moseley and Kings Heath. Each night the Round Tablers are joined by a different community group who will get a share of the overall funds collected.

Steve said:

“I know the Round Tablers well as a result of support they have given to other community projects I am involved in like the annual Veterans’ Day at Swanshurst School.
