Steve McCabe MP visits local business to collect T-shirt ahead of charity Skydive
MP Steve McCabe has been along to Stirchely based printing business Printigo to collect a specially made t-shirt that he will be sporting for his charity Sky Dive.
Later this month Steve will be taking part in a daring 15000 ft. skydive to raise money for two charities supporting those with life limiting conditions and cancer. He is hoping to raise as much money as possible for Acorns Children's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support. He has already raised over £1000 but hopes many more people will contribute before the big day.
He went to meet with local Stirchley man and Printigo Director Brian Withey and his team. Stirchley based Printigo is a business which specialises in bespoke garment printing and other items. Steve was there to collect a one off t-shirt the company has made especially for his jump on 29 April.
Printigo have been based in Stirchly for 8 years and currently employ 6 full time staff who all work on state of the art garment printing. The popular local business is hoping to expand its operations and take on additional staff in the coming months.
Steve McCabe MP said:
“I’m very grateful to everyone at Printigo for donating my t-shirt which looks great. It was fantastic to meet Brian and the team and discuss their exciting plans to grow the business. This is exactly the kind of entrepreneurship we need in Stirchley.
My sky dive is rapidly approaching but there’s still plenty of fundraising to do and I really hope people will give generously and get behind these two incredible charities.”
